Learn the fundamentals of drawing in a variety of mediums. This interactive course will guide you through basic techniques like breaking down objects and compositions into simple shapes, shading, and perspective. Plus, you’ll play with mark making and line qualities. Your instructor will provide demos, one-on-one tips, and helpful handouts. After four sessions, you’ll have practiced the skills that will support your lifelong journey in drawing.

Saturday and Sunday, January 12 & 13 2019 9:30am – 3:30pm This is a 2 day workshop where you will work on one painting taking it through several stages to create a background layer, using colours of your choice. You will learn to add shapes and colours over the background and include some exciting new shapes to change your original background layer.

The approach is practical with a combination of design exercises, advice on how to plan a room layout and how to create a cohesive design scheme by developing ideas from a basic concept to finished presentation boards.
