The highly popular North Saanich Flavour Trails Festival, August 16-18, 2019 is a celebratory rural ramble and feast of the senses! Explore and experience the weekend by bike or by car and meet the growers, harvesters, fishers, vinters, chefs and producers that are creating an amazingly rich bounty right here in our own backyard!

Take a farm or winery tour, sample food, enjoy music and art, learn about regional indigenous harvesting, watch dog herding demonstrations and experience farm life past and present. There is so much to enjoy and take home with you!

Biking is a terrific way to go! This year, make sure to check out our brand new bike corral, where you will find electric & standard bike rentals (pre-book below), bike tours both days, bike check-ups by donation (also pre-book) and park-and-ride facilities. Local food is good food!  Savour and enjoy!

But Wait!!!! Theres More!

On Sunday morning if you like your pancakes loaded high with seasonal local berries and real whipped cream, and served up in a country field, then this is the breakfast for you! In the gardens and courtyard at McTavish Academy Of Art we will be hosting the a Pancake Breakfast, a Fundraiser for CRFAIR’s GoodFood2025 $8 adults/$5 kids, CASH AT DOOR.

Following the breakfast, local musicians Water in the Crawlspace will be doing what they do best: getting us up and dancing with square dance numbers and a live caller. Bring your kids! If dancing isn’t you’re thing, fear not! You can munch on pancakes and tap your foot in time with the music or dive in and throw some paint on the community food mural…
