BRYONY WYNNE-JONES

Bryony Wynne-Jones is British-born watercolour artist and, in the great British tradition, is devoted to painting from nature. 

Having studied in England and more recently a refreshing and recharging course in Italy, she is happy to share her acquired experiences and knowledge. She works primarily in glazes of pure colours only mixing at the penultimate stages for details. 

She believes also in working from life whenever possible, from all sides of the specimen and derive even more pleasure.

Drawing and painting from nature is her raison d’etre and teaching her students to see even more is still a thrill after two and a half decades.

There is a respect for the formal Botanical Illustration but her style is more interpretive and organic. Drawing is high on her priority list for it will make it a better painting experience.

There is room for all of us to create in our myriad of different ways. All creativity is valid.
