Say goodbye to the drugstore card-rack! After this workshop, you’ll have your own line of beautiful, handmade greeting cards. For those who enjoy stamping more than carving, you may also choose from a variety of pre-cut stamps and blocks to print on your cards.

A bit about lino block printing:

Learn to think in reverse! Block printing is all about flipping space and images – it’s an incredible brain exercise. Lino block printing is an engraving technique part of a class of printmaking called intaglio where material is carved away from a piece of linoleum to reveal an image. Ink is then applied to the remaining raised sections of the block using a brayer. Finally, the block is flipped onto the paper. The result: a charming, hand carved image! The best part: the block can be used over and over again.
