Instructor: RNS Dance “SOAR”
Cost: $162 / $198
In this Kids bop session, children will learn the fundamentals of Jazz, Funk and Tumbling through creatively designed classes. Fostering the love of dance and using many tools to reach this goal, including props, instruments and stories. As children are introduced to dance vocabulary they will also be developing their musicality, coordination, flexibility, strength, spatial awareness and the ability to express ideas/stories through movement.
Parents/Guardians:
During class you are welcome to explore the academy, the grand gallery by a cozy wood stove or a little nook to catch up on a good book or some emails. Complimentary wifi is available.
About your instructors:
We are excited to announce that RNS Dance is back in the Dance studio with us at the academy. RNS is the creation of Caleigh Hunter (rhythm) and Desiree Webb (soul) and was founded in 2016. They believe that by providing dancers with education and inspiration, our communities will be that much more empowered through dance! Their vision is to inspire and educate people of all ages, shapes, and abilities to gain self-confidence and self-worth through movement, creativity, and dance. RNS is excited to bring their programming “SOAR” to McTavish Academy of Art in 2023! SOAR will help your dancer expand their passion, build capacity, harness technique, explore creativity, grow their understanding of dance, and allow them to soar beyond what they thought was possible. RNS SOAR is dance programming for dancers 3-18 years old.
