Join us at McTavish Academy Of Art for your Yoga & Mindfulness practice. We have created a number of summer series for you to enjoy. In following current health restrictions classes are pre-registered and class sizes are kept small, maximum 10 students. We have enhanced cleaning policies and limited number of classes to ensure a thorough cleaning can be done between classes. This combined with lots of fresh air flow in the studio will make for some summer yoga fun. We are excited to welcome you back!

When we approach yoga from a place of mindfulness, we are able to connect with our own personal truth. This class will introduce the student to the basic philosophy of yoga and will include asana (yoga postures), basic pranayama (breathing), meditation or chanting and relaxation. You’ll find Jeannie’s classes in the Dance Studio.

Instead of listening to music, you become the music in this exhilarating full-body workout that combines cardio, conditioning, and strength training with yoga and pilates-inspired movements. Using Ripstix®, lightly weighted drumsticks engineered specifically for exercising, POUND transforms drumming into an incredibly effective way of working out. Designed for all fitness levels.
Tuesday and Thursday 9:15-10:15 Instructor: Kirsten Roden *Privately Registered
Join Kirsten for 35-40 min of strength work & 20-25 min of yoga and stretch. This class will work the total body and get the heart rate up. We will finish the class by moving into some calm and quiet time with stretching and a short yoga practise.
