We are putting the word out in search of instructors who have exciting and innovative classes and workshops to share with the community. We are looking to provide new opportunities for kids, youth and adults. Let your imagination run wild and connect with us to see what may be possible to create together. If you are an instructor or organization currently running programs in other locations and looking to bring them to the peninsula let us know. MAOA is a community focused centre where people can explore their creativity, discover new passions and experience a variety of events and activities. We strive to provide space for our growing community to feel empowered and encouraged to express themselves through art, movement and community engagement.

We encourage you to stop by and explore the facility and experience what is being created.

Submissions for courses and workshops that will run between November 2018 to August 2019

  • Please be specific and let us know if there are multiple date or time options that work.
  • Is this course for beginners, intermediate, advanced or open to everyone?
  • Is there just one set price or can there be drop ins as well? Does the price include supplies? Are there multiple price options for supplies included and supplies not included?
  • Clear and exciting outlining the experience. If it is multiple days you can create an opening statement and then you could break down the days a bit. Remember people are seeing this for the first time so you need to help them understand what it is!
  • What is your background? experience? exciting info to know about you? People look for who the teacher is just as much if not more than what the class is. Please include links to your website and social media if you have them.
  • Please make list point form and clearly outlined. We want to make this easy for students attending. Whenever possible, include supplies in the investment.
  • Be Creative & Exciting! This is the image that gets shared on promotional material. Make sure they are your own images.
