Join us for an evening of kids dance classes. All trial session are free to experience. Hosted by Tara Crouse.

All classes are in the Dance Studio at McTavish Academy Of Art. 1720 Mctavish Rd. North Saanich

Creative Movements for 3 & 4 yr. olds
Time: 3:30 – 4:00pm
Children will explore a variety of movements that will introduce them to dance fundamentals, with a sprinkle of yoga. Language of Dance symbols will stimulate their understanding and connections to the various movements. Children will experience a variety of music, movements, props and instruments

Starbright Ballet for 5 -7 yr. olds
Time: 4:15 – 5:00pm
Participants will learn how to: warm up their bodies, develop their musicality, learn to move at different speeds, develop their spacial awareness, and express ideas/stories through movement.

Jazz Moves for 8 – 11 yr. olds
Time: 5:15pm – 6:00pm
Throughout this workshop participants can expect to begin with a jazz warm-up that includes isolations, stretching, and strengthening exercises moving into a variety of jazz steps.
