Description
Transform your design into a custom feature laser cut piece of artwork.  In this 2 part (2-day) workshop artists will learn basics to laser cut design by creating line art. Day 1 will focus on the process and design with day 2 (the following Sunday) on the laser cutting and finishing your custom piece of artwork.

Why is this a two part workshop? In the week between classes our team will be digitizing your art work preparing it for laser cutting. This process is completed via vectoring your artwork in Adobe Illustrator and formatting elements required for the laser machine. This way we can run the program for everyone without needing any knowledge of design software.

Will I get to see how the laser cutter works? Yes, absolutely part of this workshop will be spent in the digital studio seeing and learning how the laser cutting machines work to give you better understanding of how your designs can be transformed into a physical piece.
