This class will aim to have fun making one’s own renditions of popular and/or influential art pieces from history including Picasso, Monet, Mondrian, Yayoi Kusama, Frida Kahlo etc, while also learning about their history as you paint. Each individual class will focus on one famous artist and create their own rendition of one famous painting using all medium types.
Each class will be focused on a different influential artist and students may share their work at the end of class. Helpful advice on how to paint/draw and express through different mediums will be given throughout class so students may learn the basics of drawing/painting and leave with a helpful understanding of how to draw/paint/collage.
