This two-day intensive will help you with the fundamentals of portrait drawing. The first day will focus on the time-tested Loomis method for starting to capture the human head from any angle. With simple repetition exercises, we will learn to simplify complex subject matter into its basic elements. On the second day, we will spend most of the class working on a portrait from a high resolution life-size photo reference.
