Description
Learn how to paint Leonardo Da Vinci’s world famous painting ‘the Mona Lisa’ in this 2 day workshop with step by step art instruction that is structured for beginner to intermediate. Day one we will focus on illustration of the Mona and transferring onto canvas for professional results. Day two we will apply paint to the canvas, focusing on mixing colour, blending and shading. And of course getting that smile just right! By the end of this workshop you will have your very own Mona Lisa ready for display. No experience necessary, all materials will be supplied and included in the fee.

Instructor:
Shanna Hamilton is a member of the Federation of Canadian Artists and professional Artist and Art Instructor since 2005. She has taught thousands of students in her art programs structured for all ages. Shanna has obtained a diploma in Graphic Design, which also includes art history, fine arts and life drawing. Throughout her artistic career she has collaborated with recreation and community centres, independent living, school districts, and many other organizations, to inspire and offer art programs to youth and anyone who held an interest in the arts. But most importantly, she loves making art and sharing it with the community. You need zero experience to attend her classes, as they are all taught in a step by step formation and apply the rule of thumb, ‘there are no mistakes in art, only happy accidents.’- Bob Ross
